I came in with an older backpack that had never been properly fitted, and the staff provided great customer service—not only helping me select and properly fit a new backpack, but also taking the time to explain each step of the process and share tips along the way. Highly recommend!
I had the absolute best experience with Greg, Josh, and another REI employee at this store recently. I was looking for a snowboard and found it at their location, and they went out of their way to help me purchase it. I couldn’t be happier with their proactive customer service and genuine willingness to help me get exactly what I needed. This level of commitment to the customer is rare these days, and it was truly refreshing to experience.

But what truly distinguishes this store is the EXEMPLARY CUSTOMER SERVICE! All the folks I spoke with, including Stephen in winter wear, were genuinely friendly, kind, patient & helpful.
Visiting this location for the first time . I’m always a big fan of REI brand of products . I always visit their Paramus location .. customer service is one of the biggest plus points for REI ! These guys always smile and help you as much as they can . I signed up for their lifetime membership and never regretted doing it .
Location wise it is amazing . Very close to other businesses . I always buy north face and other products here .z they have sale during thanksgiving time and some of the adidas tshirts are affordable. Otherwise it’s expensive . Good experience overall though. 4 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️
