Visited on 26th Oct 2025 - It's Good Manor. See pics and videos for more details. Lot of free parking spots are available. Renovation is currently going on. Fall 🍁 colors were visible very nicely here. Gardens are very pretty. I liked the open pillar garden. It also had a wooden house which was very colorful and nice was wondering what it is used for. Landscapes were really beautiful. Iron decorations in the front of Manor looked very nice. Time capsule was marked as 1938. Thanks 👍
If you are in the area this old estate is definitely worth a visit. It has beautiful grounds for a picnic. Unfortunately the mansion is closed for renovation until 2026. If you are visiting the Botanical garden, it is a good combo visit.
Astounding. An English manor/garden feel in the Northern reaches of New Jersey (almost NY!). You can drive by pretty easily, so when you see the sign turn off! It may not look like an access road but it is. You cross a quaint bridge and pass a guard house. There is an art center and other buildings, nothing was open at this time (Saturday night 6pm). Plenty... of parking in the first lot you encounter which is next to various manor houses and the entrance to the garden. There are a ton of trials - some are gravel/marked, some just meandering sections of open field/grass. The garden is beautiful and seems to have nice age to it. You could hang out here all day and be happy! I did not get to as much as I would have liked but just walking the grounds was a pleasure. There was perhaps 5 other cars in the lot and I only saw a small group of people the entire time I was there... definitely coming back with more time on my side!
Beautiful manor and scenery. It is a bit difficult to find trails but once you do there is nothing but nature with a few water streams in the middle of nature. There are clean big bathrooms too and an ample parking lot!
It is a beautiful estate with a lot of history. At the time I visited, it was the week before the house was open for tours for the season. Although I didn't get to explore the manor it's self I enjoyed exploring the grounds very much. Great place to hike around with lots of foliage and water features. I can't wait to visit again.
