River & Rose Salon

I brought my mom in for a color and cut and the whole experience was so nice! Cynthia is the sweetest person ever and took the greatest care of my mom! She listened to her and delivered perfect results. The ambiance is also very clean and nice! Highly recommend to anyone looking for hair care.

I really enjoyed my experience at River & Rose. Cynthia took care of me and got my hair the way I wanted. My hair looked great right after dyeing. Typically my hair looks fried immediately after dyeing but it wasn’t the case here. It was also a pleasure to speak with her and Rose, I felt comfortable throughout the visit.

The salon itself is great. The staff is nice and the salon itself is beautiful and clean. However, if you are on a time crunch, I would not recommend this facility. I got my make up done there and it came out amazing and I would definitely use that make up artist again however I was taken 40 minutes after my original appointment time. My appointment was for 2:45 and I sat in the makeup chair well after 3:15. at I left completely frazzled and stressed because I was attending an event that I was running extremely behind too. Understand things happen completely and possibly running 5 to 10 even 15 minutes behind, but I really don’t think it’s acceptable to be taking someone over 40 minutes late from their start time. And not even offer some kind of discount on the service and I of course tipped the make up artist as well. Their website also states the starting price for eye make up is $50 and I was charged 65 with not really an explanation, but I was too much in a rush to ask. It is not pleasant when you make an appointment earlier than you need so you can get out earlier and attend an event and then be still sitting there waiting to be taken 40 minutes after. I’d only recommend booking here if you are flexible with time!

I had such a great experience at River & Rose! My haircut came out absolutely perfect, and I couldn’t be happier with it. My stylist and I had the best conversation — we vibed right away and it felt like catching up with an old friend. The whole atmosphere of the salon is so warm and welcoming; everyone there makes you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this salon to anyone looking for not just amazing hair, but also an amazing experience!
