Historic Trenton cemetery. You will recognize a ton of names tied to the area and even nationally. Taylor and Case (pork roll/Taylor ham), Chambers, McClellan, Poe’s Door, Roebling…

From 2023. General and Mrs McClellan resting spot in the Riverview Cemetery in Trenton NJ.
Sadly, this cemetery is not well maintained.

Shameful. What was once a pretty and well maintained cemetery has become an embarrassment. July 30, 2023 and the water is not on. See video. Finally, the fallen trees have been removed from the front section. I think they are trying but no one will tell you who to contact regarding upkeep issues. One place to start would be DAR. DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION located in Washington, DC. There are soldiers from the Revolutionary War buried in Riverview as well as other soldiers from other wars. Contacting the City of Trenton is useless. I don’t believe they care nor can they probably even spell the word “cemetery “.
