I have had very good experiences at Slik. They run a very good business, they do a good job and are good people. I’m a fan.

Quality - the haircut quality is very good, much better than the traditional barbershop. It is more expensive.

Service - the service is excellent; appointment scheduling is easy, and they mostly stay on schedule.

Atmosphere - the place is quite nice and comfortable.

So, overall, the experience and value are both very good. It is an easy location and I like that you can easily park in front.

Just a cautionary note … it really important that you stay on schedule for your customers. Personally, I’m not a fan of any provider that does not run on time.

Jose is the best! My hair has never looked better. He really understands the nuances of styling and makes my hair look fuller and healthier every time. On top of that, the conversation is always on point—great vibes all around!

Jose is very kind, gentle, and comforting to my son with ADHD. The way he can effortlessly comfort my son’s fears while also entertaining him with brain teasers is such a safe feeling. When my son had a meltdown about getting a haircut at all, Jose calmed all his fears and made him look so clean and happy with the cut. Jose goes above and beyond for his clients and I can’t recommend him enough!

After a search for options to find a barbershop that takes appointments, I happened upon Slik Barber Lounge. This place lives up to its name like no other.

A classy and well appointed interior design, coupled with professional and proven expertise and skills, this place takes truly takes on the challenge of creating the man cave lounge feel, and actually succeeds at it.

This place is like a man-oasis amid the flurry of downtown Florham Park shops, a place to have a nice refreshing stop on a busy Saturday, and come out of it looking like a million dollars.

A few cuts above your neighborhood barber shop, you will get what you pay for: an experience. And plus, I literally look just like I did 11 years ago. Nuff said. This is the spot.
