I can’t recommend Marlene and the team at SoCal Hair Studio enough! As a woman, it’s been really hard to find a barbershop that can give me a proper fade, but Marlene understood the assignment perfectly. I came in with a chopped up fade, basically a mess after other barbershop attempts, and Marlene gave me a ‘reset’ cut. After a couple months I’m right where I want to be. The cuts are clean, sharp, and exactly what I want. On top of that, the shop is LGBTQ+ friendly, which made the experience even more comfortable and welcoming. Everyone is super friendly, we always have great conversation and laughs, and the prices are very reasonable. If you’re looking for a barber who truly listens and delivers, this is the place. Highly recommend!! 🌈✂️

I went here for a bridal hair style as well as an updo for my step daughter. Victoria gave me a blow out that lasted days!!! She added an adorable boho braid style to go perfectly with the blowout & hair bow I was using.

Marlene and the whole crew at SoCal are amazing! Took my 8 & 6 year old daughters there for their first salon experience, and Marlene and Victoria blew it out of the park. Blowouts were bouncy and smiles were full. The way they spoke with my girls and got down on their level was so comforting. For myself, Marlene transformed my tired hair into fun funky and brought it back to life with a big chop, and all over color! A1 service, clean shop, always a great atmosphere, would highly recommend to all my mama friends and girls! Love SoCal!! 🫶🏼

Well I’ve found my new stylist and salon for my whole family! My husband took my son here to get his haircut last week and they did such an amazing job! My son is non-verbal and autistic so it’s so hard to find a place that’s good for him. But here, he sat the whole time, no tears, no freak outs and the staff was AMAZING with him.

I then decided to get my haircut there to give em a try. Lo and behold- I was not disappointed. I like a lot of layering shaggy wolf cut with wispy bangs, which I’ve learned a lot of stylist can’t cut correctly. It’s either not enough layers, too long layers or way too short on the top. But my haircut came out beautifully. I couldn’t be happier.

The prices are good. The location is good. The place is super clean, and the staff is so nice. They make you feel right at home. I will definitely be coming back again and again for my son and myself.

Marlene did an excellent job on the haircut and coloring. Recently opened and reasonably priced.
