Sonic Suds Laundromat of Toms River

Sonic Suds Laundromat is open 24hr/ 7 days all year. They have 30 washers. The capacities are as follows; 2 washers are 8 loads, 6 washers are 6 loads, 10 washers are 4 loads, and 12 washers are 2 loads. There are 36 dryers, all of which are standard size only. They provide wash and fold service with no clear pricing signage. There are three vending machines. 1 has snacks, 1 has cold beverages, and 1 provides laundry supplies. They don't have a cash system. All transactions are electronic and require a free Sonic Suds card loaded using the machine. You just make a selection and put cash into the slot. They also provide a large bill breaker to provide smaller bills because the card machine doesn't provide change. What cash you put in gets loaded directly to the card. There are plenty of laundry carts, and the same goes for the folding stations plenty to go around. The TV plays country music on a loop if you like that type of music. If not, bring headphones or earpods because it's very loud competing with the washer/dryer, white noise, and other people talking. The bathroom is clean and requires the card to get inside. They keep it clean when the staff is around, but when the staff leaves, so does the air conditioning. It was 75 degrees inside at and the staff put it on at 7am when they arrived, but it took a few hours to get comfortable competing with the hot motors from the equipment and the clothes dryers. Bring a personal fan for yourself if you go when the staff isn't there. Overall, it can accommodate most of my laundry needs. Did I mention it's next to a Wawa, super bonus! UPDATE they were playing 80's mix instead of country music. I'm so happy now 😊

Very clean and resonably priced for quality machines to wash your clothes and dry. Vending machines are available if you forgot your products at home. I did. Very friendly helpful staff. I had not been to a laundry mat in years and needed some assistance with how to use the machines. I wish i had gotten the young ladys name. She was very helpful. Folding tables also very clean. All the machines looked brand new. Quality wash i would say. If i ever needed to go again i would go here.

This is the cleanest laundromat in Toms River! These coinless machines are extremely convenient, the machines are so clean and they have a large amount of fairly priced washers and dryers.

I went to another laundromat this same morning, and was so grossed out I had to leave with wet clothes and came here. The relief I had when I came here and it was so clean and easy to operate was amazing. As someone who soley uses their own washing machine, i would gladly come back here anytime! I definitely would come back for larger comforters and things as well since they have huge machines.

My favorite laundromat!! I love how its open 24hrs..now I don't have to rush around in between wash and dry!! I can wait till I have the time to do it. Convenience is huge..there washers and dryers are amazing..my cloths come out nice a d fresh!!

Jazz was super helpful at my first visit. Clean laundromat with vending machines and space to fold your laundry. He explained the rechargeable card that you can connect with your phone number. When your laundry is done, you’ll get a notification text! Will def recommend.
