My kids absolutely love attending theatre camp here each summer. The staff is dynamic and fun, the activities and events have my girls looking forward to coming to camp each day. They are keeping my children safe and have policies and procedures that put me at ease when I leave my kiddos in their care!
South Mountain YMCA is fantastic! There's a variety of programs for different age ranges. The kids are always keep busy with fun group activities. The councilors are attentive and responsible. I can't think of a better place to have your child grow and be a part of.
All three of my children attend the South Mountain YMCA, and it’s a fantastic child care center. They started in the infant rooms, then into the preschool and then summer camps, aftercare and even sports like basketball and enrichment programs, such as science, cooking and ballet. My youngest is still at the preschool, and it’s such a warm, supportive environment. She’s made huge strides with her letters, counting and social skills this year, and I have no doubt she’ll be ready for K next year. It offers full-time care for my kids with few closures, which has allowed me to continue working full-time. I also appreciate that the Y gives back to our community by organizing family events in town and through charitable giving. After nearly a decade here, yes, I highly and completely recommend the South Mountain YMCA for child care.
My child started attending the Y this school year and has a terrific experience! Each day he wakes up excited for school and loves to tell me all the things he's learned throughout the day. Just since September his counting has improved and he's even started to try and "read" books at home, something he wasn't doing before. Excited to see his growth as the year continues at the Y!
