Theresa and Julia are holistically minded and inclusive practitioners who I have been working with for years. Their insights, compassion, and dedication to the highest tier of service have made it such a delight to attend accupuncture and massage therapy treatments. I have sought treatment for a variety of concerns over my time, and each was met with the same curiosity, gentleness, and healing energy. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Theresa is a true professional. I’ve never experienced such thorough treatment in my life. I started receiving treatment about 2 months ago for neck and back pain that causes severe tension headaches and in the past 2 months my symptoms and frequency of headaches has reduced pretty drastically. I can’t wait to see how much better it gets! Theresa sits down with you before treatment and gets an in depth understanding of your situation and keeps a log of all of her notes for reference, and then before each treatment session she refers back to previous notes and asks questions in reference to how things have been since she last saw you. It’s clear that she truly cares about her patients and wants to give them the best possible treatment.

Julia is a phenomenal massage therapist who is highly skilled and professional. In my case she coordinates with Theresa to target my problem areas. My wife and I both get massage therapy from her and are really impressed with her expertise. Alayne, the office administrator is very helpful, courteous and accommodating. The environment at Sparkes Acupuncture is really clean, comfortable and warm!

I started going to acupuncture while I was having several different health problems both physical and mental. Immediately I felt so comfortable speaking with Theresa and her office gives off a very warm, homey feeling. (It is also VERY clean!) She not only took the time to really get to know me but was able to help me understand my own body on a much deeper level. Theresa is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, gentle, and has such a beautiful personality. I felt comfortable being honest with her about anything. If I had questions about things she was kind and able to provide information. I was a little nervous the first time I went but after several sessions I was even able to fall asleep during my acupuncture visits! I saw her once a week for both acupuncture and cupping and after a few visits I started noticing a huge shift in the way I was feeling. My pain started to go away, my mood changed drastically, my sleep schedule improved, and I had a lot more energy. After seeing her for several months I am almost completely pain free! I would recommend Theresa to everyone, you cannot find a better place to go!
