Safe and close to jockey hollow back entrance...good place to start a dog walk
A beautiful spot, up on a hill with an amazing view of the Washington Valley.
Pretty open area with accessible parkings. We hosted a celebration party there with 40 guests. Plenty of spaces for everyone to hangout and enjoy outdoor entertainment. We paid to reserve the place, but honestly unless you want 100% guaranteed reservation, just go early and set up your spot.
The parking lot is not the main attraction. There is a pavilion, picnic tables, and open fields, etc.
Great place for day out camping...
