If I could give more than five stars, I would. Dr. Marotta and the entire team at Countryside Vet Clinic in Shelton have been nothing short of incredible. As new patients, we walked in hoping for good care. We walked out knowing we found the place we’ll trust for years.

Dr. Marotta is thoughtful, patient, and unbelievably thorough. He took the time to walk us through every detail when we learned that our dog, Buster, has diabetes. Instead of leaving overwhelmed, we left confident. His explanations were clear, comforting, and honestly the reason we felt at ease during a pretty stressful moment.

The staff matches his energy perfectly. Everyone we met was kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in Buster’s well-being. It never felt rushed. It never felt transactional. It felt like real care from people who love what they do.

We’re new to Countryside, but I can already say this: finding a vet and a team like this is rare. I couldn’t be happier with the experience, and I’m grateful Buster is in such capable hands.

I love countryside! O have been taking my two dogs there for years and Dr Santee os absolutely amazing. He truly loves animals and cares for them.
He always makes us feel like a valued member of the countryside family.

We have been going to Countryside for several years with our 6 pets. How we have never left a review is beyond me. Let me start with Dr. Santee. Dr. Santee is absolutely freaking amazing! He is not only a fabulously skilled vet but he is just a wonderful human being. There is literally not enough good that can be said about this man. Now to highlight the incredible office staff. They are equally as wonderful. They all work incredibly hard and truly seem to genuinely care about our animals. They are thorough, thoughtful, professional, and personable. The front desk staff is so on the ball and always helpful. Chrissy and Jessie are both rockstars!! Those girls don’t have it easy especially when dealing with overly protective and worried pet parents (raising hand, high). They have always handled us with kindness and understanding. We have complete confidence that our fur children will aways receive the best care at Countyside. If you are looking for the whole package this is where you and your pets belong.

I've been going to this vet for 6 years now since I adopted my rescue pups. They are very caring very thorough they listen to our concerns and helps us understand what they will be doing. They call you after hours to give results on tests done 👍 highly recommend
