Compassionate and capable, he is one of my favorite doctors! I see over a dozen specialists and he is the most thorough, takes all of your concerns seriously and responds promptly. When he says to call in with any issues he is one of the few doctors I don't need to keep checking in with to get the help I need! I know they will handle the situation and call me back with solutions or keep me updated if anything is ongoing.

Having suffered a massive heart attack at age 60, and having 3 stents put in, Dr. Som literally saved my life. He is the most compassionate, caring Dr. I have ever had. Not just with the physical aspects but the emotional ones as well. He held my hand and walked me thru the whole process. I will forever be grateful for him and his staff who ALWAYS go above and beyond.

Dr. Som is a wonderful physician who is genuinely interested in understanding his patients and helping them improve their health. He takes his time to explain things in great detail and listens to all of your concerns and answers all of your questions. I never feel rushed when talking to him despite how busy he is. My family and I met Dr. Som during my father’s first initial hospital stay. He is a knowledgeable and compassionate cardiologist with an impeccable bedside manner and I cannot speak highly enough for the appreciation and regard my family have for him. He saved my father’s life not once, but twice! We are so lucky to find such an amazing doctor. His staff is equally as amazing which is a rare find nowadays. I can’t imagine handing over the care of my father’s heart to anyone else. Five stars is not enough for this doctor. I highly recommend him and his staff!

Dr Som saved John's life. He was experiencing heart attack symptoms and went to his doctor. She sent him immediately to Morristown hospital. Friday March 13th the beginning of the pandamic, Dr Som met John in the Heart wing and knew he needed urgent care. Within a few hours John was feeling much better and Dr Som had cleared a major artery and other. John see's Dr Som now 2 years later and at 68 has a heart of a 20 year old. He's the best! Put your heart in the best hands!
