I had the pleasure of working with Staci and Johanna, and I can honestly say they are exceptional special education lawyers. Johanna went above and beyond to understand my child's unique needs and fought diligently to ensure our district provided the appropriate services through Compensatory Education hours. Her professionalism, communication, and compassion made a stressful process much easier to navigate.
Staci was equally supportive and knowledgeable, making sure every detail was handled with care and precision. Together, they demonstrated a genuine commitment to justice and to helping families like mine overcome complex educational challenges.
I am truly grateful for their expertise, dedication, and kindness. I wholeheartedly recommend Staci and Johanna to any parent seeking high-quality, compassionate legal representation in special education matters.

We discovered Sussan, Greenwald & Wesler through a local Facebook group while advocating for our son’s placement within our town’s school district. We knew we needed additional support to fight for his best interests—without it, he risked being placed in a program that could undo the progress he made during a year and a half in a full-time ABA program.

From our very first consultation, we felt an immediate connection with the team. We were fortunate to be partnered with Nicole Shim, who was knowledgeable, compassionate, and incredibly effective. She guided us through the process with confidence and care, ultimately securing an out-of-district placement for our son—where he is already thriving!

We are so grateful for the positive experience and cannot recommend Nicole and the entire team highly enough to any parents navigating similar challenges.

Nicole is amazing! She helped my son when his school tried to terminate his IEP. She truly cares and made herself available with any questions or help I needed. She knows her stuff and was always well prepared. She communicated with me all along the way. Thanks to her my son was able to keep his IEP which the school should have never tried to take away. I highly recommend her.

We are so grateful to Andrew Meltzer and Nicole Shim for their incredible work in helping us win our lawsuit against one of the toughest school districts in NJ. They were relentless in their pursuit to protect our child's rights to a free and appropriate public education. We needed their expertise. There is no question about it, as their guidance and wealth of knowledge led us into battle from the first meeting through the entire trial process. They didn't miss a detail. Along with all their expertise, the care and they are good people. They were invested in our child and her well being at a time we needed it most.

We're so glad we reached out to Mariann Crincoli for help with my son’s high school placement. It was late in the year, and my family and I were stuck, but Mariann stepped in and guided us through New Jersey’s special education laws with clarity and compassion. She didn’t just tell us what to do—she explained why each step mattered, which gave us confidence and peace of mind. She negotiated with the district’s lawyer, and by summer’s end, my son was placed in the right program. A year later, he’s thriving—earning A’s and B’s and getting the support he needs. We’re beyond grateful and highly recommend Mariann to anyone seeking a dedicated lawyer / advocate for their child.
