My husband and I got married at Fernbrook's Hoop House in May of this year. Teri and her team took care of me and my husband from the start of planning, ensuring a gluten free menu, helping us decide on table arrangements and giving much needed advice on our micro wedding. The Hoop House was the perfect intimate venue for our reception and our guests still rave about the food. The service was fantastic and the team at Fernbrook took care of everything day of. Everything about our wedding was a fairytale.
We are forever happy that we chose Fernbrook Farms for our April 2025 wedding. Where to begin? We loved its food, people, sustainability, history, and location; we truly loved our whole experience!
Logistically, Fernbrook served and exceeded our needs as a couple currently living across the country in California and planning a sizable wedding from afar. We had a lot of guests coming from out of town, and not only is Fernbrook conveniently located near Hamilton train station, which is easily reachable from the Philly and Newark airports, but also some of our older guests and guests with kids could stay the night at Fernbrook's charming inn without worrying about having to drive late at night.
Teri, the General Manager at Fernbrook and our primary point of contact, was an absolute rockstar throughout both the pre-wedding planning and on the day of the big event. My husband and I are not what we'd call "natural planners" of big events, and Teri's steady guidance about what steps to take leading up to the wedding was invaluable. When we chose to get married in April, we were emotionally prepared for a rainy day, which is partly why we chose Fernbrook as a venue. The historical, warm indoor decor of the Fernbrook Inn helped us be just as excited about getting married indoors as we were to get married outside among the flowers.
When our wedding-day weather kept flickering between rainy and sunny, Teri and the Fernbrook crew went above and beyond to have Plans A, B, and C prepared, even improvisationally swapping the order of the cocktail hour and ceremony to try their best to have the ceremony in the sundial garden with peak springtime cherry blossoms framing our ceremony. All of their efforts were successful, and we had our ceremony outdoors during a precious window of sunny weather! Even if we had to get married indoors, though, we'd be infinitely grateful for their perseverance in both bringing our vision to fruition and making sure my husband and I could be focused on each other and our loved ones throughout the day. I felt so zen throughout the day, very much due to Teri and the Fernbrook team.
If you're looking for a wedding venue that is not only gorgeous, ethical, historical, and memorable but also committed to helping you have a stress-free wedding day, please consider Fernbrook Farms. You have a gorgeous experience awaiting you.
Had to meet an amazing stay staff was lovely and super helpful. The grounds are beautiful and the food was delicious. Thank you so much for a lovely day 10 out of 10 recommend
Invited to a outside wedding rehearsal dinner, wedding and reception in October. If anyone is interested in that kind of venue, you have to inquire. The atmosphere is unique in history and very detailed to what the bride and groom would like. I could only imagine what grounds would look like during spring and summer. They hit it out of the park for autumn.
I have taken several Botanical Drawing classes hosted by Fernbrook Farms. I learned a lot and it inspired me to continue with my art. Each time was a great experience. The Farm offers so much to see with beautiful gardens and pathways to explore. The chickens are a lot of fun, too, as they strut around.
We were well fed at the lunchtime and evening classes with special meals in little picnic baskets or buffet style. Great food and pampering. I haven't spent an overnight there, yet. But exploring the rooms in the main house, you can see what a treat that would be.
