I needed assistance with a divorce matter, and spoke to 6 attorneys in the area. Without fail, all of the attorneys proposed the same solution: initiate the divorce complaint, discovery of all marital assets, and then (as one colorful attorney put it) “whack’em up!”

Abigail was the only attorney to propose an alternate approach. She listened to the particulars of my situation, and developed a strategy meant to accomplish two things: 1) put me in a strong negotiating position, and 2) exit the marriage quickly and with smaller attorney’s fees.

Her strategy worked exceptionally well. Throughout the process Abigail provided timely, forward-looking advice that allowed me to negotiate a larger settlement than the other approach of splitting marital assets. Moreover, we bypassed the expensive process of discovery and negotiation between both sides.
