My boyfriend and I planned a last minute trip for the fourth of july and we had an amazing stay at the inn. Staff was very nice. Room was CLEAN. Just outdated furniture but nothing to serious. Thank you for the stay!

I came up from NC and was glad for front desk being avail. Close to 5 am when we finally arrived. Also glad they offer late check out for small fee. Wish I knew when I booked for last night that they have early check in too! (could've got a room for today closer matching my itinerary). Room is good size and clean looking, has wifi, flat screen TV, mini fridge microwave. I gave 2 stars. I prefer more linens ( 1 rag 2 adults) double room. I asked but even though they came around about checking out they didn't bring up a towel or washcloth. I was hoping req. accessable room was still avail and there wasn't an elevator, but we have nice view of the pool. But the pool isn't going to open till Aug? Maybe front desk informed me Hotel planner states pool is open Till 9pm and cont. breakfast until 930AM. ( False) Cheap room bare necessities.

It's hard to rate a hotel with such mixed variables. I rented a room here while on vacation from Oregon. I came to visit my daughter who has a Rottweiler dog and the reason I didn't stay at her place. To be honest I'm glad I didn't read the reviews before I checked in here, because if I had I'd never have checked in here. I think the reviews are unfair. I only rated the room a three because it didn't have a phone in it, but it was clean, it wasn't perfect but it was presentable. The other reason the three is because I had an issue with my door fob it didn't want to let me in my room and caused me inconvenience; however, the night staff named Harry was very accommodating in letting me in my room. As soon as I told the day staff the problem was solved and my fob worked fine. Contrary to the other reviews this is not a scary place. It's not a busy place and maybe some interpret that as scary because there's not a lot of people here but it is hardly as described by these reviews I'm really shocked at the bad rap former guests have given this place. I was even overlooked for housekeeping and all I had to do was mention it and it was fixed right away and I came home she was pleasantly clean room restocked with clean towels and toiletries. If other people would just take the time to ask questions and find out what's going on you realize that this isn't a place of neglect or bad management this is a place of New Management and these owners of this hotel are trying to run a new business. And it's pretty obvious that they took over quite a mess and are working on getting things back to par. To me it feels family run and it also feels like they probably have been trying to fix this place up for the better part of the year. I mean I could be wrong it's just the impression I get. I haven't seen any bed bugs or roaches but I will tell you the power of suggestion is awful strong and reading them reviews gave me the creepies. So, no bad review here, if you want a 3 or 4 star hotel then pay for one. If you want a budget hotel this is just as good a place as any other 2 star hotel. I predict that in time It will only improve.
