Universal Yums

Universal Yums has been all over my news feed, and I said that I have to try it. It took me a while before I made an order. The first box that I ordered was a holiday box : taste of history. I enjoyed some of the snacks. It came with a chart to rate each snack and a booklet that provided you with information about each snack. I decided that I wasn't going to wait until next month to order more snacks. I have made five purchases since then. Also, I shared the snacks with my parents, and they loved them, too. It was a really nice experience trying a variety of different snacks from around the world. I can't wait to try more soon.

I gifted a Ukraine box to my best friend who is displaced with her family because of the war for the last 2 years - she just made it to Canada and was hoping that the box would be familiar piece of home.

Canadian shipping is quite difficult- they may charge customs in order to receive it and it can take weeks to get there. Luckily, the box made it to the local post office. A few days went by and even though tracking said it was delivered to the residence, it was not. I contacted both the shipping company and Universal Yums to see what my next steps were. Customer service was amazing and responded first thing and offered to ship out another box. I waited for my friend to stop by the post office in person to inquire about the package and it was being held there, with no extra fees! Customer service reached out once a day at least just to make sure everything with my order was resolved and I no longer needed help after I let them know the package was happily received.

My friends’ loved every snack in the box, shared with me all the memories (both childhood and recent) they had of the food they received and thought they wouldn’t be able to taste again.

Universal Yums is pretty cool! I ordered a box because I watched a FB video and there was a $5 off code. I ordered the box on July 1st. I received the box July 11. I ordered the mid size box, just one, versus monthly subscription. We enjoyed the box while watching the movie "Crawl" on HULU. Inside the box is a pamphlet with information regarding each snack and also haa a cool card to fill out with who the snack testers are and we voted for our fave! My daughter naturally hosted the snack exchange, after we all grabbed which bag we wanted to try first, she then handed out the rest and read the descriptions to us as we chewed each snack. It was nice to pass the snacks around and hear the ooos and aaahhhhs and weird faces when thinga tastes funny. Lol. A crowd favorite was the pickled onion rings and the banana toffee, the shortbread and the Lamb Mint chips were surprisingly good!! We are getting ready to move in a couple weeks, we decided hands down we would love to order another box soon! Great for movie nights. Or also, foe card games. 😊😊 Get your box, you won't regret it!
