I’ve used Varsity Movers twice now, and both experiences have been excellent. The team is always on time, professional, and efficient. They handle everything with care and make the moving process completely stress-free. It’s rare to find a company that’s so consistently dependable — I wouldn’t call anyone else. Highly recommend Varsity Movers to anyone looking for a smooth, worry-free move!
Everyone was nice and polite, and easy going. The complaint is based on handling and care.I will say we had issue's with dates being moved and pushed back and had to reschedule multiple times. They were very understanding and good about that.
I read alot of good reviews and was referred by a family friend. So I guess it was just a bad day and it happened to be a one time in 10 years k8nd of thing, Idk.
But they damaged the washer,(which was only 6 months old) and the bottom of my headboard. They scratched up the bedroom set from the master bedroom on the footboard and dresser. We got rid of it and bought a new bedroom set . We also got rid of a curio cabinet that they had scratched up on the bottom sides from the dolly. I did not take picture's because I wasn't planning on doing a review, but since they sent an email asking for one, why not.
I'm not one to complain or write reviews, but the advice I'm giving is to read reviews and check things over at least if not right away, as soon as possible.
These are all things you don't really notice or pay attention to until the movers are gone and boxes are gone and put away etc. This is only the second time ever moving so not really much experience as to what to expect or look out for.
They also forgot the washer and dryer at the old house. They had to go back to pick it up, and I had to go back to meet them there.
To be honest what is there really to do to make it better ? Money off isn't going to replace the damaged stuff. It's also a he said she said type of situation. I myself would not recommend them as there were multiple issues and not just one incident. You can't replace/fix certain items once damaged.
Varsity Movers moved us from New Jersey to Virginia over two days, storing our items in between. Trey, Chris, and Nick packed up and and Nick and Chris came down to unload. We are so grateful and impressed at their efficiency, friendliness, and the care they took to ensure that all of our items arrived in good shape, wrapping soft items in plastic wrap and hard items with moving blankets. They even took extra time to wrap my late father’s heirloom desk once I told them how precious it was to me. This team, including Rob the owner, made a move I was absolutely dreading into a painless experience. Thank you! I’d recommend them without hesitation.
The movers did an excellent job. They arrived on time and took a good care of our stuff while packing, unpacking and moving things around. This is the second time we were using Varsity Moving and will definitely use them again! Thank you!
We had such a great experience with Varsity Moving! Our moving truck was loaded in just over 2 hours, and emptied into our new house in a little over an hour. The guys were amazing - professional, efficient, and very nice to work with! The price couldn't be beat, either. We are so happy with them, and have already been recommending them to anyone know!
