I just switched Ins companies today. I used Vic Hatami for 2 years and it was nothing but a hassel. Playing phone tag with him and his daughter was really annoying. I went in there today (10/20/23) to make a payment on my vehicles and open a new policy. He was on the phone when I walked in and doesn't say a word. Just let's me stand there for 15 mins instead of looking up and acknowledging me and telling me to wait a bit. After his phone call I tell him I need to make a payment and he asks where my paper is that came in the mail and said he couldn't do it without. So I said I'd run home to grab it. He calls me a minute after walking out the door and says he doesn't do the new policies only his daughter does, so I'd have to come back when she's there. Meanwhile, he's the one that originally wrote my policies on my vehicles for me. Too much of a hassel. I found a different Ins co that did everything over the phone.. opened 2 new policies, submitted my documents via email and paid with my debit card. They insured my vehicles immediately and emailed my temp insurance cards. Wonderful simple efficient.
They have dollar a DAY insurance for NJ drivers so ...can't beat that.
