My prior state-run insurance had ended a month before and I missed the cancellation notice in the pile of medical mail I receive every month since being diagnosed with a serious life-long disease 2 years ago. Mind you, this personal panic took place on December 30th and I needed a plan by the 1st. He was off for the holidays and did not know who I was, yet he picked up the phone and helped me immensely... And he doesn't even sell insurance in my state, so didn't make a dime for his half hour of analysis and advice.

Will listened to me and put my fears to rest. He took his time to explain each plan clearly and it was obvious that he knows his stuff, even the state-to-state regulations. He identified my insurance needs and walked me through the pros and cons of the various plans available. He spoke in plain language and together we identified the best supplemental Medicare plan and prescription drug plan at a rate I could afford. We have been working with John at NJ Life & Health in Toms River since 2019, when we first became eligible for Medicare. Initially, we were so overwhelmed with the different tiers of Part A/B coverage, but he was patient with my questions and thoroughly explained the available options. Each year since, he has reviewed our meds to ensure our Part D plans continue to provide us with the most economical coverage while also taking into consideration any possible drug additions in the upcoming year. This year, he even suggested and helped me navigate the process to change my Plan G provider for a considerable savings. I try to stay current with proposed revisions to the Medicare program and John is always aware of those changes and explains how they may impact our situation.
