We have been staying at Starlight for years. Very happy with the hotel. We had no complaints..this year when we stayed, the beds(mattress)were not good and not comfortable. Woke up every morning with back aches and very uncomfortable..(time for new mattress) and felt that its wasn't the cleanest. The refrigerator on the outside had dirty stains.
And the floors were dirty. Not sure if the maids used mops in-between cleaning.
But overall love the Starlight very accommodating. Very nice owners and staff. Very friendly. 👍👍👍
I can say this establishment is my home away from home! Immaculate, Accommodating, Location cannot be better, Michelle and Company are the best proprietors going the extra mile to make you welcome! Highly recommend!
We had a lovely stay at the Starlight. The rooms were super clean and comfortable and the location is perfect, one block from the beach and surrounded by coffee shops, restaurants and shops. The manager, Angelo, and his team went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. They went out to buy a computer charger when ours broke, brought guests donuts each morning, and even bought Pringles for my son when they recognized how much he loved them. Super personalized and friendly. I’d highly recommend!
This was our second time staying at the Starlight. Michelle and staff are fantastic! The rooms are exceptionally clean and well stocked. Unfortunately, I have a severe chemical allergy but Michelle and staff went out of their way to make sure only "safe " products were used to clean!! I would give 10 stars if possible. The grounds & pool are also spotless. This is a high class establishment and will be my first choice when staying at the Jersey shore in the future. THANKS SO MUCH FOR exceptional accommodations Michelle!!!
My boyfriend and I frequent Jersey Shores a few times throughout the year. I, for one, have grown up only going to Seaside Heights and have quite literally stayed in almost every hotel there. This was our first time staying at Starlight Motel. The check in process was great. Michelle was super friendly, even when I gave her a call when we were on our way that we were stuck in major traffic; she was more than understanding. Housekeeping also so friendly, even though we were only staying for 2 nights. The room was comfortable, bathroom was clean! Also, the beach was down the block. You really can’t beat it.
