We love the Grenville!!! We had a girls reunion weekend here and had the most wonderful time!!! They have the best staff!! We loved our rooms and the food was incredible. We enjoyed visiting on the porch in the evening, as well as enjoying our coffee out there in the morning. The dining area is beautiful with its fireplace. Incredible dinner menu and brunch options and minutes from the beach and shopping. We highly recommend the Grenville!!!

We had the most spectacular getaway weekend at The Grenville. The rooms were spacious, well accommodating in many ways, and the water pressure in the showers superb. We had excellent meals at the Grenville including breakfast and dinner. Morning breakfast on the huge wrap around porch was such a treat.

We enjoyed the short walk to the shore. We had plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas and towels from the supply closet. The staff always had smiles on their faces and the owner Harry treated us as family. Our favorite activity was the beach #1, The Ark restaurant #2 and the boardwalk #3.

It went from a getaway weekend to a place I want to go every year. Our visit was in late September so the weather was perfect and we had the beach pretty much to ourselves. It was so relaxing and rejuvenating. I highly suggest a getaway weekend for you and loved ones at the Grenville.

I held a baby shower for my daughter in July (2025) and I can’t emphasize enough what a wonderful event it was! We looked at the space on a quiet day in March and knew how perfect it would be so we didn’t go to any other venue on our list. As our date approached, I was getting nervous that parking would pose an issue (we had 65 people coming) so I called the venue at least 4x to ask about it and each time I was reassured there would not be a problem! Even though it was a Sunday during peak season? Again, total reassurance! And they were right! Besides that, they never made me feel like I was a bother! The food? Absolutely delicious! Presentation? Perfect! And staff?? Couldn’t ask for more personable and friendly people! The Grenville is BYOB and I was concerned that I didn’t purchase enough champagne for our mimosa bar ( some of the guests were a bit indulgent!) The staff said I had enough but if I didn’t, someone would run to a local liquor store to purchase more. They were so reassuring and accommodating! I plan events for a living so I have a very critical eye when it comes to behind the scenes details. The Grenville completely exceeded my expectations with regards to quality, service, and pricing. Thank you for making this a very memorable event!

The Grenville is a grand, old lady from the Victorian years of the 1890's. As owners of a house built in the 1760's, the Grenville, with its pink paint, gingerbread architectural decorations and huge front porch was at her best on a warm September evening. We ate dinner on the porch and the food was excellent and the server friendly, informative and attentive. The beet salad with Feta cheese and a vinegar forward dressing was fresh and well balanced. French onion soup was one of the best I've eaten. Croutons and melted mozzarella made the soup hearty and filling and seasoned with what I think was sherry and Old Bay. My wife loved her Halibut over rice and asparagus while my lamb chops were perfectly seasoned, though a bit under cooked close to the bone. The requested medium rare was quite rare near the bone. For the price, the 3 chops felt a bit stingy.
Overall, this was a very good meal in a lovely setting and the Grenville is perfect for either a romantic dinner for 2, or for any special event with family or friends.

First time staying at the Grenville. LOVED IT! Had a great room on the 4th floor. Clean, bright, AC was not only controlled by me, but was quiet even when on full blast. Beach literally right around the corner. They provide chairs, umbrellas, towels and badges. Never had a problem finding parking even in August and coming back late in the evening. Rooms must be sound proof...never heard anything from the rooms next to/around me. Came back one night late, loud party next door (heard them when going in), heard nothing in my room which was on the side of the party! Didn't have a chance to try dinner, but the menu looked great! Can not say enough about the staff! I will be back! Thank you Grenville!
