Stayed on a cold snowy night. Weather was atrocious. Gentleman at front deask was very accommodating; came to our room immediately to show us how to work the heat. Beds were comfy, room quite warm, everything amazingly clean. Would stay again.
Business is for sale so, not able to vouch for accommodation after it is sold. Late December, 2025.
Just took our yearly September Point Pleasant trip...we also come in June!!
Always stay at the Windswept, for the last 40 years!!! Motel is always super clean, staff is friendly, great location, clean heated pool and steps to the beach!!! Love it here and looking forward to our next stay!!!
Not all Ocean front rooms have Ocean view.
I was promised Ocean view, but got dunes and smokers area view.
The balcony have no outlets to charge the phone.
A tall table with tall chairs in the first floor balconies will allow partial Ocean views.
There's no bike rack on the premise.
As a family of four with a one-year-old and a three-year-old we stayed in their oceanfront room on the second floor. The view is absolutely stunning and you can’t ask for a better location! It is so clean inside I was fine with my one year-old crawling around on the carpet. This place is a hidden gem. The decor hasn’t been updated for a really long time but the beds and carpets and bathroom were so clean and it was perfect for a budget family vacation!! Hopefully the new owners keep it the same way or just make a few updates because it would be a shame if this hidden gem were to go away!!! We hope we get the chance to come back next year as we just discovered Windswept!!
Just got home after our first visit. I love the Windswept. Everyone that I spoke with on the phone prior to the visit was so nice and friendly. The rooms were clean, well cared for and we had a great view of the crashing waves. Very short walk out to the beach, which was amazing. Walking distance from a lot of fun things to do at the boardwalk and if you want to drive you can find dozens of great things to do within 5 mins or so. We will for sure be back! Thanks!
