LiBre Dessert Cafe

I absolutely love Café Libre! ❤️ Everything is delicious, the place is beautiful and very well maintained, and the staff is incredibly professional and welcoming. You can really feel the care and quality in every detail. Highly recommend!

A new café in town with a unique touch. The tomato soup and toast were excellent, and there’s a wide variety of pastries, including several waffle options. The donuts are tasty, and the cakes are delicious. They offer both coffee and bubble tea.

Absolutely loved my first visit here! The space is beautifully designed with so much attention to detail — truly a hidden gem in Hamburg. The barista was kind and professional, and the service was outstanding. I had a cappuccino and cinnamon roll, both delicious, and I can’t wait to try more from the menu. Wishing you continued success — this place deserves all the praise!

I happened to stop by this cafe on a whim while visiting the area and it turned out to be the best food I've eaten while in town. I actually went in to have some dessert, took a few things back to the hotel, and returned the next day because it was so good. They have a wide selection of both familiar and unique drinks, desserts, and even food. The ambiance of the cafe is so warm and inviting, the interior design so beautiful and thought out. If you like desserts that are not too sweet, LiBre is perfect. I tried their carrot cake, various different scones, their crinkle cookie, some breakfast sandwiches, some drinks, and some of their cheesecake as well as the little cakes that come in the boxes. I don't have a single complaint about any one of them. It's very obvious that there's a lot of thought gone into each dish, because the different aspects of each one of them compliment each other so well! The side salad that comes with the breakfast sandwiches is soooo good, the carrot cake was so moist and soft with the cream being so light, the scone is dense and fluffy inside, and their cappuccino is honestly so light and creamy. I don't even like cappuccinos but I drank the whole thing! I was honestly sad to be ending my trip because I fell in love with this cafe. The vibe of the cafe and the staff alike are so welcoming, and I had several questions about each dessert which the staff patiently and kindly explained to me. I never felt like I was being rushed or my questions were an inconvenience. I really wish I was able to take the whole cafe home with me.

So happy that a French style bakery/ pastry coffee shop is in our neighborhood! Beautiful well designed place, delicious soups daily. Amazing cakes and other pastries. Love the box cakes. We tried blueberry, strawberry, tiramisu and the chocolate, all of them were delicious. Also the vegan mango rice pudding was amazing as well! Cannot wait to try more!
