Mi fiancee and myself came to the beach on Saturday for 1 day and decided we did not want to drive back home the same day. We Googled nearest motels or hotels near us and we found Surside Motel, first one. What a score. We actually received the last room. Rooms are clean. Pool is clean. Owner Rich is friendly and overall good vibes. 25 years and older to rent a room so there's a calm crowd. Restaurants are all close by and they have great food. We will be coming back with our daughter.

When you think of a " motel " you think of dirty , dingy , old and run down . This place is anything but. It clean , updated, and perfect for a beach getaway at a great price. The owner and the staff are extremely friendly . Rich the owner came upon check in and greeted up and was just the sweetest man . The pool is nice and calm and clean and even the guests who stay here are cool . Over all the vibes of this place is a 10 out of 10. This will be the only place we stay from here on out.
I havent stayed here before, but I find their canned cocktails to be phenomenal. 8 or 9 in one night no problem.
A truly comfy, quiet, and clean motel with a perfect location for the beach, food, and boardwalk.
Rich, the owner, is present every day along with a caring and detail oriented staff. The location is immaculate, the rooms are spotless, the pool is perfectly maintained, and the people who stay here are generally friendly and family oriented.
Quiet hours are enforced and this is not a place for a party. It’s a lovely spot for families and friends who want quiet and respectful neighbors.

We discovered the Surfside Motel on a whim last summer and are now on our third visit, if that tells you how much we love it here. Located on the north end of Point Pleasant Beach, it is a quiet location with fantastic seafood restaurants within walking distance. The beach is also a short walk away with bathrooms, showers, and concession stands. The rooms are immaculate. I have stayed in motels all across the country and have rarely seen a cleaner, more comfortable and well appointed room. We look forward to our return visit!
