Prospect point boat yard is a premier boating experience. Kyle is just great. I have purchased 2 new boats and wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I’ve had my boat at another Marina on Lake Hopatcong and Prospect Point is a great all around Marina. The team there is top notch and very accommodating. Everyone is very pleasant and their service department has great mechanics. The docks are all in great shape and parking is very convenient to where your boat is parked. I also really like the location for its accessibility to restaurants. Couldn’t be happier!

Approximately two months ago, I hit a terrible storm on Lake Hopatcong and totaled our boat.

Thank God that the insurance company gave us some money so I could put it towards another boat for my son who has Autism. Being on the lake is definitely his happy place.

Unfortunately, after driving to four or five different marinas there was nothing that I would feel comfortable with my son being in for a good price.

The boats that I felt comfortable in for him were completely out of our budget.

I was on my way to go look at a boat at another marina for the third time. I was basically just going to settle on this boat that we found because it was the best thing that we saw in the last month.

As I drove to the other marina, I noticed this huge beautiful Marina with the doors open.

Something told me to turn my car around and my son and I walked in. Immediately I was greeted by a wonderful woman named Giselle.

We had an immediate connection and she couldn’t have been any more wonderful and accommodating to my son.

She clearly was in the middle of 100 different things, but she stopped what she was doing and focused on my son and I.

She went on the computer and showed me boats that were in my price range and I fell in love with a 2012 Chaparral.

She got on the phone with the manager and told him that my son and I were coming down to see the boat because it was at their other location.

I left there, knowing that I made a friend forever in Giselle!!! I told her I would stop back and let her know how I liked it.

I met with the manager, Mike, who was absolutely also amazing and within 20 minutes of me getting there, they had trailered the boat and put it in the water to take my son and I for a ride.

I knew immediately after being on the water that I wanted this boat for my son. It had everything that I was looking for and I felt very safe.

After taking a ride on the boat, I met with another wonderful, kind person named Kyle who is the son-in-law of the owner.

I swear the hour and a half that I spent with these people I felt like I knew them forever!!!!

Having a 23 year-old with autism who is with me every day can be very challenging but when I tell you everybody that I came in contact with at Prospect Point Marina were beyond exceptional to
My son and I.

Most people don’t even try to talk to my son, but they all made every attempt to include him and made him and I feel totally comfortable!!!!

My ex-husband went later that day and met with them and gave them a check for the boat and he agreed with me that they were absolutely beyond wonderful!!!!

They invited us to come back the next day for their open house and I felt like I have known them for years.

Thank God there are still wonderful, kind, honest, and compassionate people in the world!!! 🙏💕🙏

Purchasing our Tahoe Pontoon and new trailer was great working with Jim during the winter to see and purchase. Prospect stored the pontoon over the winter and we picked it up last week. Kyle and the service team were great. They had the pontoon fully serviced and clean. They launched it for us to try it out and showed us all the controls. They even gave us some extras. Highly recommend Prospect Boat Yards. Great people to work with.
