we just moved to Vernon and we had an emergency with our cat. The front office. Staff was absolutely amazing. They took us in the same day. The vet veterinarian assistance were phenomenal. The doctors were very good actually excellent. They took the time to explain everything what was going on with my 18 year-old cat. They explained everything in Laymans terms took the time to answer all of my questions I give them 10 stars.
We are so happy that we transferred to this veterinary office! Dr Cerf and his team are so kind and knowledgeable. Our dog Archie was coughing for weeks. After multiple office visits with our previous vet, a visit to the emergency vet, different medications and growing frustrations we decided to seek a second opinion. After seeing Dr Cerf and his vet tech Tara, I knew we were in excellent hands. Archie loves them too! I highly recommend this office. The truly care about their patients.
Our little girl Blossom had an eye infection and needed to see a veterinarian right away. Her regular vet was closed and a family member recommended the veterinary center of Hardyston. They were able to see us that day. Dr. Ryan Van Vliet was very accommodating, compassionate and kind to our little girl. As well as the nurse and staff. Everyone was so kind, professional and friendly. They made us feel so much better as we were very concerned for our little girl. I highly recommend this animal hospital for your pets. We are considering to using them for our pets. I was so worried about my cat and they eased my mind and took great care of her. Thank you all at the Veterinary Center of Hardyston.
Update (9/13/25): Yesterday, Blossom crossed the rainbow bridge and with the love and support of the team, her crossing was peaceful as the efforts taken went above and beyond. I completely recommend this clinic regardless of your pets’ condition or age.
After I adopted my cat, Edna, from a local rescue I needed a veterinarian for her regular care. I came across Dr. Cerf and his partners here. The name sounded so familiar and that’s because Dr Cerf’s dad, took care of my Yorkie when I was 12 years old! So it was definitely meant to be! Dr. Ryan did her initial exam and was wonderful with Edna. Dr. Cerf did surgery on her eyelids two weeks ago and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. The entire staff is amazing, supportive and comforting. I can’t thank them enough and I highly recommend this practice !
My pup had tummy problem and my regular vet was unavailable. Eric atctge reception desk was so courteous & Dr. Striegel was able to see us right away. Our visit was so pleasant and we left with medication and a plan for treatment. Thank you so much!
