88 Motel

My family had an absolutely wonderful experience here! Liz is such a sweet and understanding owner at 88 Motel. She made us feel at home as soon as I walked in. And the grandkids loved the"homemade"cookies gift she left in our room. I wasnt expecting room service for our stay but it was all neat and tidy when we came back. We used the pool "a lot" because the weekend we were stayed there was riptide closures at the beach. The pool was "SpArKLiNg"clean the whole time we were there. And the motel it is close to many food establishments and stores. We'll definitely stay again.

Stayed for the 4th of July weekend, and OMG, this place is a hidden gem for the summer. It's in the perfect location, it has a decent pool looking over a creek that had a family of swans. I def coming back next year.

My family and I had an excellent stay here. The owner was so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, and the location was great! We would definitely stay here again, highly recommended.

I have had the pleasure of staying here on multiple occasions, and the one word that comes to mind every time is wow. This is truly a hidden gem on the jersey shore. I have stayed in many other establishments in the area over the years, but this location is not only the best value, but it also has the best service. As a small family owned establishment, Ken and Liz make you feel right at home. They are always available to answer questions and provide needed services. The rooms are clean, updated and well maintained. The pool is relaxing, and you cannot beat the view of the creek at sunset. If you are looking for a reasonable, clean, safe and relaxing environment for you and your family, I cannot recommend the 88 Motel enough.

What a hidden gem!

My husband and I just spent the weekend at 88 Motel and can't say enough good things about it. The room was so clean that I didn't even want to wear my shoes indoors and mess up the clean floor. The bathroom was well supplied with clean towels, soaps, and shampoo. And the decor was amazing. The room was beautiful -- it had a nice big bed, a kitchenette with a full size refrigerator, microwave, even a stove top for cooking. There is a gorgeous wildlife area at the rear of the property -- we sat on the pool deck and watched the birds. It was so relaxing. The owners, Liz and Ken, couldn't be better hosts. I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Liz in person, but she couldn't have been more pleasant when we spoke on the phone. She mailed the credit card receipt for the deposit and included a hand written card. That sort of hospitality is rare these days. Ken was so nice when we met on Saturday. He even took the time, while he was eating dinner, to come by our room to fix the TV.

I would recommend the 88 Motel to anyone. My husband and I will definitely stay there again if whenever we're in the area.
