Pelican Inn & Suites

Stay here in the room was infested with ants! And I'm not talking about one or two Ants I'm talking about hundreds told the workers and they came in and checked the room and told me "It must be because of the humidity buy some ant spray and spray around the windows" all the food that I had had to be thrown away. Also they did not once during any point bring any type of towels toilet paper anything whatsoever. Had to buy my own ( which I am okay with but still) Says free Wi-Fi but they turn off the Wi-Fi at their convenience they also spend the majority of the day watching every little thing that you do and if they don't like something they come and knock on your door whatever time just to tell you about whatever it is they had a problem with. Would not recommend this place to anybody. Also you would think that because I came in with kids they would have given me the room that had a stove but no people who came in alone got the rooms with the stones and the people that came in with children or bigger families were in rooms that just had microwaves which I thought was crazy.

We stayed here for a weekend with our little dog and were pleasantly surprised by how nice it turned out to be with very affordable rates. Everything has been renovated and our microwave even still had the twisty tie on the chord! We didn't find a single bug in this place and the staff was very accommodating to my mother's needs. Would definitely go back and recommend to anyone looking for a place to spend a night or two at a good price. And in case you're wondering we got our security deposit back without any issue.

I was given this motel info by my tenant who had to move out for perhaps a week due to a water leak. I spoke to Victor, who was very sympathetic and kind. He allowed me to make arrangements for my tenants and gave me a great weekly rate. I was in Florida at the time, so it was more than helpful to have someone on the other end of the phone working with me on this. It was a tough time for both our tenants and us & I feel like it was handled very well by the motel & Victor. I would recommend this place to anyone, clean & great staff.
