The owner might come off a bit rough around the edges, but don’t let that fool you—he’s a genuinely nice and incredibly honest man. I’d much rather deal with someone upfront and straightforward than a smooth talker looking to overcharge me. They helped my daughter when her car failed inspection due to the check engine light (I know, rookie move but she was trying to be independent). While another place quoted $1,500, they fixed the actual issue for just $400—turns out it was something simple. Other shops wanted to charge for unnecessary parts, but not here. Thank you for your honesty and great service. We’ll definitely be returning customers. Don’t judge a book by its cover!

In desperation, I quickly went across the avenue to West Essex Sunoco and explained the problem to a mechanic. The garage was due to close in half an hour, but the mechanic was able to inspect my tire, find the leak, and plug it quickly and expertly. I was given prompt service and I had my flat tire tended to with no trouble and no interminable waiting, and at a fair price. I would recommend West Essex Sunoco to anyone who needs a flat tire repaired, be it a repair scheduled in advance or - especially - an emergency repair.
