This company and the plumbers they use are great. Always reliable, and will make sure things are done right. If there's ever an issue with their work, they will come back and make sure things are taken care of. They are not the cheapest plumbers, but they are reliable, and do good work. I would not use anyone else.

They are a professional company but one that charges through the roof.

We initially asked Guarini for a faucet and valve replacement and they quoted $348 total which was a reasonable price and in line with other plumbers. In the confirmation they then said it was a per-hour price but the job would take roughly an hour, so we went with them due to their good reputation.

On the day of service, they came 20 minutes before scheduled and before a water shutoff could even take place. Water shutoff and restart took another hour or so during which the techs were just on their phones and not even within the unit, nowhere to be found. In all the techs were around for just over 2 hours, and they billed for 3 - they will round up any partial hour they are here, including before the scheudled appointment! So a 1 hour job ended up being billed for 3 hours and in addition they charged a $130 material fee, despite us providing the faucet they installed, well above what is standard. We ended up getting charged about $1100 for "3 hours" of work, or $750 over the initial estimate. Stay away from this company unless you have money to burn.

They also installed the faucet wrong but were quick to respond to a callback to fix this at no charge.

I've been working through a really funky problem in my condo in Downtown JC. Have had dozens of plumbers, HVAC, and others into the unit and nobody has ever seen anything like it. Working with Guarini was the first time I felt like the person actually cared about solving my problem vs. taking my money to do nothing.

They were amazing - got somebody out to take a look and give me an estimate within 24 hours and even called me the next day with some additional ideas to try. I could tell they weren't just trying to make a buck and were so patient about explaining all their thoughts to me. When I suggested trying wild measures, they were honest about whether they thought it'd be worth it. Would 100% bring them in again!

Received a new hot water heater through PSEG replacement program. Plumbers from William J Guarini showed up on time and explained everything. I needed an expansion valve due to high water pressure and they installed that as well. They took the time to cover my steps and cleaned up when finished. I am very satisfied with the job.
