Wishy Washy Laundromat

Clean. Owner and employees helpful and nice. Change machines full and work. A couple of dryers take longer to dry

First, look for "The Laundress" sign and not Wishy Washy. I guess these owners haven't changed their signage yet. This place is small and clean. Multiple change machines. No sink or paper towels to wash hands. There were clean rags provided to wipe down tables. Didn't see a bathroom. Washers are very pricey especially considering the cycles are 23 minutes. 2 pound loader was $4, 4 pound $8 and 6 pound (extra large) was $10. There were also a few $6 loaders but I can't remember their capacity. Dryers were new BUT you only get 4 minutes per quarter; that's a bit ridiculous. No supply vending machine but a self serve shelf with modest supplies. Was a sign asking patrons to "stop stealing" 😅 and put payment under locked door. This place is closed Tuesday and Thursdays except for dropoff.

Decent place if you're passing through or it's local for you but the price is too high considering the accommodations ... even for Hopewell. But even despite the price, longer cycles and 6 minute dryers would have earned this place a 4 star rating.

Had to use a laundromat because of a home renovation. Did five loads on a Friday evening. No wait. Both washers and dryers were super fast and a good size (washer 25 min and dryers about 30). Change machine worked without any issues. Space is clean and bright. Talked to the new owner and he has made a lot of improvements - new washers, new change machine, and better lighting are just a few he mentioned. I was not looking forward to the visit, but it was a far more pleasant experience than I could have hoped.

New owners really committed to a quality experience. New dryers are great; also newer washers. They also do a wash and fold which is very convenient when you don't feel like spending time doing it yourself!

The new management at Wishy Washy is doing a great job! I have never had such fantastic customer service at a laundromat - so far and above what I would expect. The facility is clean, bright and has several new machines. Best place around to do your own wash or have the excellent owners help do it for you!
