Pretty pricey bodega, but I get it. It’s the only one in the neighborhood and it closes by 10:00 pm. I hear everyone saying it’s clean and neat, but please check EVERY expiration date. I’m not talking about meat or milk I’m talking about anything that has an expiration date. I bought prunes a few years ago that were expired back in May of 2021, and this is November 2023. It wasn't the first time. Please check the pasta sauce, can goods, box goods, and rice. Now I’m not talking about 2 days expired I’m talking about weeks, and in the case of some of the small snacks, months expired. When these issues were taken to the employees or the employees had been made aware, action had been taken immediately to remove such items. The employees are generally friendly and are able to establish a good rapport with customers. Their accents are pretty thick, but communication still flows, interestingly enough. My sister lives just 3 blocks away, and I visit a few times a month. She swears by this bodega for their hot/cold sandwiches. I'm left with giving this spot 3 1/2 stars.
Very cool inside, had what I needed and was in and out looked clean and organized.
Great sandwiches, have been here since I was a kid. Even family have been in this store, great place overall
