88 Charles St Restaurant

Ate @ 88 tonight and the food was excellent! Kenny, our server was polite, attentive and helpful. The calamari was delicious, the burger so moist and bursting with flavor! The bacon, finely chopped and topped the burger perfectly. The tagliatelle with braised short rib equally didn’t disappoint either. Cocktails were superb.
HOWEVER….i asked for a quiet table, was almost on the musicians lap. There seemed to have been a bit of a mess up on reservations.. they were carrying in tables and chairs to accommodate us and other guests. Didn’t appreciate the tomahawk steak for the nearby table of 10, being set aglow right by MY shoulder !

The food was excellent, great service and ambiance. Our server Amanda was attentive and friendly, and Naz did a fantastic job presenting my tomahawk steak. We are always treated to a great experience.

Food here is phenomenal!!!, came here for the first time and me and my boyfriend absolutely love it. I took him here for his birthday and everything about it was amazing from the moment you step in! the lady at the front was super nice and welcoming. Then our waitress Amanda was super nice and we absolutely loved her! I definitely recommend having her as your waitress. We got the chicken milanese and the chefs burger which was sooo good. My boyfriend is picky when it comes to food and he absolutely loved the burger! The food at this restaurant is worth the price plus it’s fine dining and it’s perfect for those that don’t want to go to the city and want to be a bit closer. I definitely recommend having birthdays or anniversaries here! For dessert they ran out of molten cake (which is my bf fave dessert) however they gave us a cheesecake which we aren’t big fans of cheesecakes BUT the cheesecake was pretty amazing I must say! It overall was an amazing experience and I’ll be coming back again! Also I don’t know if he’s the owner but he referred himself the boss he’s also super nice and you can tell he really cares about the people that come in and eat at this restaurant you can tell he wants everyone to leave with a great experience and we sure did! :)

First time here- my wife & I came here tonight to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. Absolutely blown away by the experience. The entire staff, from the hostess to the owner were extremely friendly & attentive. Our server, Kenny, was cordial & attentive the entire time. You could tell that he really took pride in his work which was great to see. The owner also came around multiple times to check in on our experience & spent some time chatting with us.

The food was incredible. Full of flavor & fresh. Whoever the chef is, man are they talented. The Butternut Squash soup kicked things off for us and the meal kept getting better with every dish that came out. Thank you to Kenny, the owner & the rest of the staff for making our anniversary so special!!!

We went to 88 Charles St Restaurant for dinner last night and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The service was phenomenal, the specialty cocktails were delicious, and our entrees were to die for. My fiancée got the filet mignon risotto while I opted for a halibut special from that night. Both were cooked to perfection and the portions were actually quite big. Our only knock would be when we ordered a regular margarita, it was dive bar level bad - nothing but sour mix, unfortunately. That however was not the case with any of their specialty cocktails and the server took care of it right away for us. This place is definitely a bit pricey, so it’ll be more as a special occasion spot for us. Regardless, this place is worth a visit if you want delicious food.
