One of our favorite restaurants. We have been here so many times throughout the 30 years that they've been a restaurant. The main reason we love this restaurant is how quiet it is. The carpeting really helps keep the conversation noise down. It's extremely romantic and worth going to on a special date. Nicholas, the owner is always so friendly. This year they sent me an email and because of that we made Thanksgiving reservations there. I have never had such moist and delicious turkey ever. Everything was fantastic! Matt, our waiter was very attentive and friendly. We even had a high school graduation party here. They also have a private room for private parties. Parking is easy in the street. The decor is really beautiful. Most of the tables are for two people, 4 people maximum. It's a very small dining room which is why we love it so much.

We dined here with a group of friends, and unfortunately, the experience fell short across the board. The appetizers were just boring. They lacked imagination in both flavor and presentation, setting a disappointing tone for the evening. Things didn’t improve with the mains— tasted uneven, with some components overcooked and others underdone. At an average price point of $65 per entrée, we expected much better execution.

Desserts were overly sweet, and the crème brûlée was especially underwhelming—chilled and missing its signature caramelized top, it tasted more like a refrigerated pudding than a delicacy.

Service was equally inconsistent. Our waitress didn’t replenish water or wine after the initial pour, and surprisingly interrupted a heartfelt toast with an untimely offer for dessert. In a setting that claims fine-dining standards, attention to social cues and ambiance is essential—and here, it was noticeably lacking.

Overall, far from a fine-dining destination they claim to be.

Not perfect, but definitely top shelf. Food quality was superb, although portions are on the average or small side. Avoid the scallops & fig appetizer, the scallops were mushy and drenched in a gooey sauce. The pesto fettuccine with shrimp was incredible and a food highlight of our trip. Butter pecan gelato for dessert was also excellent.

Service is very professional, friendly and attentive. It's BYOB, and the staff handles all uncorking, putting the bottles on ice, etc.

There are two rooms and the smaller room is typically quieter but both can get extremely busy and noisy when there are large parties seated. If one gets unbearable, try the other if there is space.

A definite foodie highlight in Spring Lake. Expensive, but recommended if you can splurge.
