This Church is amazing!!Truly a piece of Long Island history. I was here last Saturday to be a part of the 28th Annual Spirits Cemetery Tour, presented by the Three Village Historical Society. I've been part of this since 2016 and have been involved with some filming here as well.Being in a Church that goes back to the Revolutionary War makes you want to explore and walk the grounds.

Beautiful, historic and 2nd oldest Episcopal Church in the USA. The only one older is in Plymouth, Mass. where the Mayflower landed. There are still bullet holes in the walls from the American revolution. We are fortunate to have such a beautiful landmark right in our backyard....

This lovely Episcopal Church welcomes performances by musicians from the Stony Brook University area. This past weekend (Feb 9, 2019) I attended a concert called "A Night in Hertfordshire" which presented Baroque chamber music played in homes during the period novelist Jane Austin lived. Acoustics are wonderful in this church. There's a balcony in the back where I sat, got a good view of everything including the organ pipes. Father Richard Visconti was welcoming. I learned this church was built in 1729 and was restored to its current condition in 1937 by the Melvilles. It reminded me of the Old North Church in Boston. One (perhaps) oddity is that you can practically touch a gravestone as you enter the church from the back. You can't miss the "historic" graveyard.
