I've been thinking about buying a Beetle for a very long time but started seriously looking about 6 months ago. While doing research I saw the Chris's YouTube videos and checked out his website periodically. After searching BaT and Thesamba I hadn't found the right car and then one day I noticed Chris had a 1970 for sale. I stopped into the shop and Chris was incredibly nice to deal with, went for a quick test drive and made the purchase that week.
I've had the car for a week now and couldn't be happier. The transaction was incredibly smooth, Chris was very responsive, and the car was in great condition.
If you have any doubt about buying a car from Chris just spend some time researching thesamba, podcasts Chris has done, and other sites with reviews on ClassicVWBugs - all positive. Definately peace of mind buying a car with his seal of approval.

Chris has a great reputation for high quality classic VW restoration work, so when I heard he was doing general repairs as well, we shipped my wife's 67 Beetle up with AAA for a few repairs. The repairs were done with excellent quality parts (as usual for Chris) and done in only a few days! He also recommended a couple other items that should be done while the car was in the shop so we had those done too. Very reasonable prices for the excellent quality work! We just drove it home about 2 hours tonight and it's drives like new and we have peace of mind that the work is done right.
A fun place to visit... and such a nice family behind it all. Who doesn't love getting up close and personal with several gorgeous vintage Volkswagen Beetles all in one garage. Over the years, Chris & his dad have mastered so many fabulous VW restorations. The care and detail they put into these treasures is truly amazing. My husband and I look forward to visiting again soon to see what they're bringing back to life behind those garage doors 🙂
