Dr. Pitera was a turning point in my mental health journey. From the very first session, he made me feel genuinely comfortable, heard, and understood. His approach is both compassionate and professional, and he takes the time to truly listen. As a first responder, it can be difficult to open up, but Dr. Pitera’s experience and empathy made it easier to talk about the challenges I face. I highly recommend him, especially for anyone in high-stress professions seeking meaningful and effective support.

From the moment I walked into the office, I felt welcomed and well cared for. Dr. Pitera was not only incredibly knowledgeable and professional, but also took the time to really listen and explain everything clearly.

My husband has been a patient of Dr Pitera’s for over 5 years. From day one, he listened to my husband’s and my concerns and worked to help my husband regain his quality of life. Previous psychiatrists just wrote scripts bust never actually worked with my husband to understand the underlying issues. Dr. Pitera has always been thorough and willing to work with my husband to optimize his medications and to live. We have never felt rushed and the doctor has always taken the time to personally address any issues. The receptionist has always been kind and helpful. She has gone out of her way to make my children feel comfortable and safe. She has the tough job of running the front office in a psychiatric practice. We have always felt safe and respected and i have personally witnessed her working with some very difficult patients that could have escalated very badly.

Overall great Dr and great office. I am so grateful to have found this practice.

Dr. Pitera is the best. He is one of the few doctors today that are actually giving patients the time they need and deserve. He takes in to account the way I feel and I truly feel comfortable knowing I am in his care. His wife Mary, who runs the office also deserves 5 stars. She is so friendly and always willing to help in any way possible. She is very accommodating and her demeanor is always welcoming. I cannot speak more highly of both the Doctor and Mary, and I can genuinely say that the referral/introduction to Dr. Pitera's office has been one of the best things to happen to me regarding my state of well being.

We've been using Dr. Pitera for over a year now. He is a great doctor. We have also recommended him to 2 other people that also are very happy with him. The office staff has gone above and beyond for us at times. New patients it may take a little bit to get a call back as they get busy but we have tried a few other doctors in the past and have always had the same issue. I would urge you to call back again as this doctor is well worth it. And when i say a little bit to get a call back i mean a few days nothing horrible. Once your established we've never had to wait, like i said the doctor and his staff have always been EXTREMELY helpful.
