Pendry Natirar

I had high hopes for the Pendry Natirar as a New Year’s Eve escape from NYC, but unfortunately, it missed the mark for us.

To start with the positives: the property itself is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and well-appointed, and the spa is truly heavenly. However, the disappointing service and issues with basic necessities completely took away from the luxury experience.

Our stay was marred by several operational failures:

Room Service: It took over 90 minutes for our order to arrive, requiring us to call three times just to confirm it was still coming.

Amenities: We had no hot water on our first night, and the in-room coffee machine was broken.

Dining: We waited 45 minutes at breakfast just for black coffees and plain bagels.

Valet: It is mandatory to valet park for $60/night, yet the cars are kept in an outdoor lot / were covered with ice when returned to us.

Living in NYC, we are accustomed to high prices, but those prices usually come with a commensurate level of service. Here, the service simply did not match the cost. I would recommend visiting for the spa, but the hotel experience was not worth it in my opinion.

From the moment we arrived at Pendry Natirar, we were impressed by the upscale elegance and attention to detail throughout the property.
It truly feels like a beautifully restored historic mansion transformed into a luxury resort, surrounded by perfectly maintained grounds that instantly create a calm, relaxing atmosphere.

The staff are outstanding friendly, attentive, and everywhere you turn, always ready to help with a smile.
Whether it was valet, spa staff, or dining service, every interaction felt warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming.

The property is expansive and stunning, featuring a gorgeous pool area, scenic walking paths, multiple lounge spaces, and breathtaking outdoor views.
The spa is exceptional, offering serene relaxation areas that elevate the entire experience.
Rooms are spotless, beautifully designed, and strike the perfect balance between modern comfort and classic charm.
Dining on site is top notch and complements the refined, tranquil setting perfectly.

Overall, Pendry Natirar delivers a true five star experience, peaceful, elegant, and unforgettable. We can’t wait to return.

The young new manager (didn’t get his spelling of name but think it’s Karam) at Ninety Acres made dinner a memorable experience

We had some difficulty with communication and some frustration from feeling nickel and dimed during the planning, however, they made a concerted effort to make it right AND they totally deliver on the excellence day of. The food was outstanding, and our designated attendant, Salwa was the absolute most helpful and anticipatory person around us all day long. She remembered one member of the bridal party didn’t like seafood from cocktail hour and made sure to get them an alternative appetizer before anything was mentioned or orders were taken. That was a small detail that REALLY stood out and made a positive impression on the people who overheard. We also felt like there was an abundance of opportunity for the bridal party to have snacks or some champagne, which we didn’t expect and did appreciate. No mirror in their most common getting ready room was an inconvenience, but the venue fixed the situation.
