Expect nothing but the best from Gears n' Grinds. Connor, the owner and head mechanic, went above and beyond than just providing new tires. My husband explained the bike belonged to an individual living in a residential care facility who uses the bike as part of a daily health routine. Not only did Connor attend to the tires but took the initiative to check brake pads and other components, ensuring all in good working order. As promised the bicycle was ready in a day. Connor even offered to deliver it. Great work ethic, Connor! Your professional and courteous service shines and is appreciated.
Wonderful customer service experience with Connor, the owner!!
you can tell he loves what he does, and he loves kids. Super knowledgeable, friendly, and goes the extra mile!
Gears N' Grinds - Simply exceptional. Connor, as most people who are devoted to a particular skill/business set, is a total professional. However, in this field, I would qualify him as an expert. He is extremely knowledgable in the cycling industry, having extensive experience in participating in cycling himself. He applies that knowledge in customizing your experience in suiting you for a bike. My bike is absolutely perfect - I LOVE it!! His attention to detail, willingness to listen & advise, and courtesy combine to make you feel as though you are his only customer. I encourage everyone reading this review to pass on these sentiments. Thanks Conner!
I just started bringing our bikes to this shop when my son blew a tube. Super easy-going friendly staff did a quick turnaround on the tire for a reasonable price. Had to visit again later the same week with another issue and got the bike back the same day. The Cranky Noodle also offered great food and friendly service. I like that they offer my favorite non-alcoholic beer in customizable 6 packs as well. A great addition to Sparta!
Because I am older, I no longer maintain my own bike. But I still ride a good deal. Connor, the owner, replaced w worn back tire for me, installed it on the bike, adjusted the breaks and put it back in my SUV. The personal service and polite, friendly attitude made the experience enjoyable. Connor was out ill for a few days, so his service was not available as stated on their signage. That is easy to correct, as is the answering machine recording. Overall however it is a good place to have bikes fixed and serviced. I would use them again.
