Totally a new hotel, very clean and smells good, I really liked the renovation and the change for the better ,It is preferable to give the tip to the housekeeping staff themselves, because those in the office keep it.
The photos you see on the Internet, looks morning like it does in person. The room looked filthy and the tub was horrible!!! Paying over 100 dollars for ONE night and the room looked disgusting! The AC was broken, talking off the wall. I'll never book here again that's for certain!
I have a lot of time there in the last 17-18 years. The current day ivory tower is nothing like it was when kids hung out in the mid 80s. New ownership and management. 2021-2024 I stayed there 3-4 days a week. the manager who works there named Pete is responsible for everything that's good. He's always helping out anyone that may need help. Bottom line ivory is the cheapest around. I highly recommend a stay if your close

The managers Peter and Jay are very professional and made me feel very comfortable. The staff all have a smile on and are very courteous ask if I always had enough towels and toiletries. The rooms were cleaned and vacuumed every day. Reasonable weekly rates. Very quite nights and weekends. Whoever owns this piece of Americana has a winning team!
