A very thorough and comprehensive physician who will take his time to listen and assess you. I have had other endocrinologists but he is the one who helped me manage my diabetes. He adequately follow up and elaborates answers when asked. I highly recommend him to family and friends. His professionalism is up to par.
He is a great Dr. I only wish that someone was available to talk to when his office is closed.I can't get an approval on a order when there's nobody their to help.
I have been a patient since 1988 and have been very happy with Dr. Birnbaum. He listens to me, answers my many questions and is very knowledgeable about all areas of health, not just endocrinology. My Dad was the person who referred me and my Dad thought he was a great doctor as well.
Dr Birnbaum has taken care of my thyroid for over 25 years---top doctor--I would consider going to him--he is so professional and knows his profession of thyroid care.
