Okay - so... Where to start...

Jonny is incredible - head to toe (looks included - you go, Jonny!).
I based my choice off of Reddit thread, stating Jonny was the go-to. Of course, I had to oblige to the will of the almighty - Reddit.

Jonny was patient in understanding that I wanted for MY hair, he explained what he was going to do before he did it, and his vision/execution was flawless.

The MOST important qualities about Jonny: FRIENDLY, perfect at actively listening to the needs for your hair in specific, personable, well-rounded, and New York in all of the best ways possible.

I am happy to have learned the same shop I used to go to is back in a new form. Clean shop, great service and booking experience. Got a cut from Makenna. She was nice and took in what I was trying to do with my hair. After I left, I wasn't so happy with the fad... but I was able to fix it myself. The rest of the haircut was the way I wanted it.

The Cut Shop is the final frontier of barber shops, especially for someone like myself. All the stylists here are S-Tier, however my mane belongs to the one and only Makenna. Finding the right hairstyle is like finding the perfect life partner. Once you meet them, you never want to let them go. Not a single lost soul on this plain of existence can do what Makenna does with my mane and beard. She has this uncanny ability to make me look Darklordesque as per my original request during our very first encounter.

When we first met, I felt a sense of comfort and trust I never felt before from any stylist. Trust me when I tell you, I have been to many different stylists over the years and the trauma I experienced from bad haircuts resulted in a crippling lack of self confidence and as a result, I became the subject of verbal lashings from the cruelest creatures that I’ve ever had the displeasure of knowing. From Gumby to Forest Gump, I’ve heard it all.

I am unapologetically loyal to The Cut Shop since this is her domain. It’s also a huge plus that she’s a metal head hailing from one of the gloomiest cities in the country. The haircuts I receive from Makenna always exceed my expectations. The ambience and eclectic blend of music make The Cut Shop even better, if that is even possible. Let’s not forget about the free beer while you wait. Makenna, you have helped transform my entire life by boosting my confidence levels beyond my wildest dreams.

I was a walk-in and Jonny was able to put me in a chair with a minimum of wait. Great vibe, good music, and best of all, the best haircut I’ve had in years! Highest recommendation.
