Ever since I tore my ACL in middle school, Ashley and there team have been such hard workers. And although the staff did change since the last time I was there. I feel like they always want to help you and assist you in any ways possible to help you get better and stronger. Currently I have been struggling with balance issues but thankfully there team Ashley and Andy know so well how to help me to assist me in every way possible to make me stronger and help me with my balancing issues
Please be advised that Rehabilitation Associates therapy is very professional their staff are polite, respectful, and most of all helpful whenever I encounter a exercise problem they are there to assist and explain what to do to correct my problem. I would not change them to attend anywhere else. I give them 10 stars ⭐️
If you are looking for rehabilitation with funny and friendly staff, then look no farther than Rehabilitation Associates of Far Rockaway. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and encouraging. I highly recommend this place for all your rehabilitation needs. So call and make your appointment now.
Subpar PT center. Very scattered and unprofessional. Minimal contact with a therapist, lots of waiting around between exercises. And I usually waited 10-20 minutes after my appointment time before they'd be ready for me to start. On most days employees ask you, "Do you remember how to do this [complicated] exercise?" because they don't (and then they have to go find someone who does). Sloppy, unpleasant admin (lady at desk will have you stand in front of her for a while before she bothers to look up from her computer and acknowledge you). On one of my last visits, there were kids (summer staff?) sitting around giggling loudly and gossiping and doing idiotic stuff on their phones while I was trying to focus on rehab exercises 5 feet away. One day they told me I couldn't do a rehab exercise because they had run out of the little bands. I mean, what can you say? A PT place that won't buy the little bands everyone has to use...
Don't waste your time. There are dozens of better places to go for PT, and yes it's worth leaving Rockaway if you care about your recovery (and the money you spend on it).
I have been to a few other PT centers in Rockaway but Rehabilitation Associates of Far Rockaway has been amazingly professional, kind and extremely knowledgeable. The support team is always available to help with exercises, mobility and scheduling. Excellent experience every time I go in (2-3 times every week).
