Ken and Linda hosted my husband and I, and guests of ours, for our wedding. We could not have had a better experience at Danskammer House. Linda made sure every detail was thought out and planned so that our stay would go smoothly. She went above and beyond to make sure my wedding party and I had everything we needed to get ready. She allowed us to use the carriage house, which was the perfect space for the bridal party. Linda made delicious breakfasts and provided refreshments for us and our guests. Our stay was fantastic and made our wedding day that much more special. We would recommend Danskammer House to anyone planning to visit the area. You will not regret it!
My husband and I were in town for a friend's wedding and luckily Danskammer House was just down the street. Linda was incredibly welcoming and crafted the most delicious breakfast! We had a lovely (though quick) stay and hope to be back.
My wife and I have stayed at Danskammer House twice now on visits to the Hudson Valley. Storm King was a principal destination both times on the way from Delaware. Location works for access to Rte 9 attractions on east side of Hudson. Hospitality, accommodations, and breakfasts are outstanding. Special attention to details by innkeepers is just that - special. Dinner choices in Marlboro are limited, but preplanning can score a table at CIA in Hyde Park. We hope a third stay in 2025 will be possible.
We had a lovely two night stay at the Danskammer House. Linda and Ken Cool have thought of every amenity you would need during your stay. The breakfast was delicious, the bedroom was nicely appointed and very comfortable. In addition, there is a beautiful Carriage House in back where guests can relax and snacks are served in the afternoon. The hosts were great at recommending things to see and do in the area, as well as having a list of recommended restaurants. I would highly recommend a stay.
Amazing B&B close to a great music venue. The Falcon, and many restaurants and wineries. Be prepared to eat well in the mornings, the 3-course breakfasts served by Linda and Ken are possibly the best I've ever had. I am not a morning person but woke up every day for breakfast!
Linda and Ken are amazing hosts who know the area well and make spot-on recommendations. They are fun to talk to and are great characters who make you feel very welcome.
My room was very clean and well maintained. Everything from the towels to room temp controls was clean and maintained. The house has a warm and welcoming feel with beverages and snacks available at any time. High tea was served and wrapped for you regardless of the time of day. The baked goods were amazing most were made by Linda.
This was just an amazing place to be.
