Great instructors Matt and Rob are the best it is a pleasure to have me teach me self defense and how to stand up for myself and fight with confidence
I had the pleasure of having Matthew Fekett and Robert Uhric provide a self-defense class specifically designed for low-vision/blind individuals as part of an Usher Syndrome Awareness Day gathering in Central Park, NYC. They were able to meaningfully engage with young children and adults alike throughout our event. They taught us useful techniques, like how to use our white canes as a weapon, and were knowledgeable in answering any questions! Their adaptability, enthusiasm, and positive energy was very much appreciated! I would highly recommended then to anyone and I look forward to working together with them in the future!
7 years ago my wife and I took our son Jeremy to learn martial arts at another school and that's when he began to learn from Instructor Rob. Rob was kind and patient with our son while at the same time pushed him to meet his potential developing skills and discipline. Rob was so good that I remember back then my wife saying, "If Rob ever started his own thing, I would 100% pay him directly to teach our son." When Rob became one of the head instructors and the Head Grappling Coach of Dragon Fist MMA I couldn't wait my kids to train with him again. I myself have learned a ton from and my own skills have vastly improved due to his knowledge and expertise. His Jeet Kune Do, Muay Thai, Wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu knowledge is truly incredible.

Dragon Fist MMA is a completely different experience to other martial arts schools. The instructors don’t just make you run through mindless drills. Everything is explained and you are allowed to adjust the techniques to your unique movements. Small class settings and a real focus on individual improvement. I really recommend coming down and trying out a class. You will be impressed.
