During an incredibly stressful period for my family, for which we were completely unprepared, Andrew and Debbie from Elder Care Staffing Solutions came to our rescue. When my Dad was having a difficult transition to assisted living, Andrew placed well-trained, caring staff with him during the overnight hours. As Dad's cognitive function declined quickly, Debbie spent time with my Mom to help her be a supportive spouse, and they sent the saintly Joyce as a 24 live-in caregiver during a three-week transition before Dad moved into memory care. I am grateful for their compassion and their generosity explaining what was inexplicable to us. Dad is now in a safe and supportive environment - we could not have gotten him there without Elder Care Staffing Solutions. If you find yourself in a similar situation with someone you love, I recommend them very highly.

I have a long history with Elder Care Staffing Solutions in Somers, NY that goes back over a decade. The owners, Grace and Karen, both nurses, provided me with excellent advice and the appropriate level of home health care aide solutions for the care of my Aunt Irene and cousin Dan as they grew older, until they both passed away at different times in 2019.

Recently, when my wife Linda was diagnosed with cancer in early 2024, Karen and Grace visited us in the hospital, where they answered many of our questions. When it was time for my wife to come home to recuperate after an operation, they provided us with an excellent home health aide until I could manage my wife's care by myself. Sadly, Linda eventually entered hospice where she passed away at the end of 2024. It was a great comfort to both Linda and I, knowing that Elder Care Staffing Solutions was there to help us on our difficult journey this past year.

The day I called Elder Care Staffing Solutions was my lucky day. I had knee replacement surgery scheduled in a few days and had not been able to book a Home Health Aide with other agencies. They could not find anyone willing to stay with me in my semi-rural location. I explained my needs to Debbie at Elder Care, and I heard back from her by the end of the day. She had found an aide for me.
The aide who came to take care of me was a perfect fit. She had a lot of experience with knee replacement surgery, and she understood what she had to do. We made a schedule for taking medicine, icing my knee, getting up to move around, and showering. It was comforting to know that I was not going to miss any medication or activity. Thanks to my aide’s excellent care, I was well on my way to a successful recovery by the time we said goodbye.
Also, my aide fit seamlessly into our household. My family was very happy, as was I, with her knowledge and professionalism. We all loved her personality. We were sad to see her leave.
When my second knee replacement surgery was scheduled, I called Elder Care again and asked for the same aide. Fortunately, she was available. Again, she understood my needs, and she helped me achieve another successful recovery.
I also was pleased with the staff in the Elder Care office. They handled the insurance company paperwork, which eliminated stress and allowed me to concentrate on recovery. Everyone had the necessary expertise to work with the insurance company, and it was a pleasure to work with them.
If I or my family were to need a Home Health Aide, I would immediately call Elder Care. I am glad to recommend Elder Care without reservation. I cannot emphasize enough how lucky I was to find them.

I cannot say enough great things about Elder Care. Everyone I dealt with (Karen, Grace, Andrew, Debbie) is fantastic and so caring and responsive. We first contacted Elder Care when we needed help for my father. After he passed away, we continued to use them for my mother. I would never not use this agency and go private -- they make sure all your needs are met and you never worry about being left with no help. At a time when you really need someone, you are taken care of and it greatly alleviates the stress and worry concerning the care of your loved ones. If you are looking for care, this is definitely the agency you want to use.

The staff at Elder Care Staffing Solutions were wonderful to my mother and to the family. I wish I had chosen this agency the first time I needed someone to assist in the care of my mother. They were in contact with my mother's aide on a daily basis to see if she was doing well, if there was anything she needed for my mother's care and how my mother was doing. Registered nurses and owners, Grace and Karen were caring, thorough and informative when meeting my mother and her family. They and the complete staff was available whenever I had a question or needed something. I am grateful my mother had such wonderful support at the end of her full life.
