Ummm.. what is there to say? This has to be the most original, creative, thoughtful flower preservation in the business! Jackie does and extremely wonderful job not only with being unique but creative. I would recommend this business 1,000 times over. Your memories will last a lifetime!
Jackie is an absolute master and artist of her craft! Our mutual love of flower design made her first layout for my bouquet perfect on the first try. I adored my bouquet on my wedding day and love how it’s been immortalized with Jackie’s care and craftsmanship. It was also lovely to chat with her upon pickup as well! Thank you, Evergreen Botanical!!
Jackie reached out to me two years ago sharing her incredible process of flower preservation. I immediately fell in love with the idea that I could have my bouquet preserved exactly how it was the day of my wedding. I had been shopping around for a while for flower preservations, and although I love a pressed flower, the result didn’t feel quite like what I was looking for in my bridal bouquet preservation. Jackie really saw my vision when I shared with her that I wanted to do a surprise for my mother and mother in law by getting their corsages preserved too with a little of my bouquet mixed in. She created a beautiful series that made for a wonderful gift for both mothers, and a heirloom that works beautifully as a set to pass down to future generations. Jackies work is just out of this world incredible. The flowers look as amazing as they did on the day of the wedding and I am so grateful to have these memories forever.
Thank you House of Bernal for my beautiful flowers on the day of the wedding, and a huge thank you to Jackie at Evergreen Botanical Studio for the incredible preservation
My husband and I decided to have an intimate micro-wedding with 12 other people in June of 2024, and organized just about everything ourselves, including the flowers. As part of the planning process, we sought out a preservation artist who could freeze this element of our wedding forever in time. I found Jackie of Evergreen Botanical Studio and her 3-D preservation style matched exactly what I was looking for, so we booked our date with her as soon as we could. She was the PERFECT choice. She took my crazy wild bouquet, my grandmother’s handkerchiefs that wrapped the stems, all the extra flowers from the arrangements, and even some delphinium from her own garden (because she's such an angel and took pity on me that mine didn’t quite survive), and created a work of art that takes me directly back to my wedding day and reminds me of all the amazingness that unfolded. AND she crafted the most wonderful little memento for my Mom, that was completed in time to gift for her 50th wedding anniversary, just months after our event.
Jackie was so easy to work with, providing detailed instructions for packaging and shipping the flowers from the Midwest, eased my worry by confirming as soon as she received them, and gave a timeline and explanation of how the whole preservation process works. It seems like magic that the flowers in the finished product look just as they did on the day of our wedding. There is something extra special about the care and artistry that she applies to each and every project she works on. You can feel the passion for her craft shining through, from the vibrant colors and clever composition to the expertly homemade frames. This was an important part of our wedding budget, and we are so glad we made the investment, not only as an extra special keepsake but also to support a fellow artist and small business owner. You won’t be disappointed making the same choice!
I had the most beautiful bouquet for my City Hall civil ceremony, but no firm plans for the bouquet post-wedding. My florist friend shared Jackie's contact information with me and I contacted her to see if she had the capacity for a last-minute bouquet preservation. Luckily, she had availability and a few hours later, I was taking an impromptu day trip to Cold Spring with my husband. Jackie met us at the station and was so incredibly kind. She gave us a few suggestions of eateries to check out while we were in town. We had a symbolic ceremony a week later and I was so pleased with the service received with my first bouquet, that I asked Jackie to preserve that bouquet as well. Throughout both bouquet preservations, Jackie was very responsive and answered any questions I had. She shared a layout of both bouquets prior to framing and packaged up both frames nicely, with bags, (this is a big deal when you're taking the train) when we returned to Cold Spring for pickup. I'd highly recommend her services to preserve a piece of your special day.
