This place really is the dry cleaning and alteration gem of Ridgewood. Honest work and really nice tailoring with attention to detail would otherwise cost double the amount.

I recently dropped off a fairly new only worn 2 times pair of Uggs here , I found this place off google they told me it would take 2 weeks to clean and I paid ahead of time a price of 45$ , when I picked them back up they gave me my shoes without the box I provided to them and gave me my shoes in a bag . When I looked at the condition of the shoes I was even confused if they even fixed anything . After a though look they only removed 1 minor stain off the shoe and left dirt scums and even the texture of my Ugg is not the same . I came right back in the store and brung this to their notice and they didn’t offer any help or money back . This is my first time bringing any Uggs to cleaners and this was my experience I now have to look around to see if anyone can clean it properly ( the shoes it’s self is in brand new condition and only had 2 dirt stains ) now the texture and color etc is messed up and still looks dirty :(

Best dry cleaners and tailors in Ridgewood!! I’ve tried a few places before settling on forest french as my go to spot. They have tailored many pieces for me—I just got back two pairs of pants that fit like a dream and you can’t see the alterations at all. Also they’re very friendly and sweet.

Really nice location with friendly owners. I have gone to them for both dry cleaning as well as for alterations and they do a fantastic job at both. Not to mention, their prices are very reasonable.
