The food was excellent. We bought the chicharron, one jalapeño pupusa, one birria pupusa and fried yuca. Everything was great, the only thing missing was a bit of birria broth for the birria pupusa.
I come here every week and the food never disappoints. I try something different each time and it never fails to surprise me with new flavors. Although the wait is a bit long at times the food has always been worth it. Looking forward to trying the entire rest of the menu.
I wish I had taken photos because the food presentation was truly outstanding—visually stunning and thoughtfully plated. My curiosity got the best of me, so I ended up ordering a variety of dishes, and not a single one disappointed.
Here’s the thing about reviews: they’re all based on perception. What stood out to me is that everything here is made fresh to order—nothing premade. That kind of quality takes time, and honestly, it’s worth every minute. I spent nearly $140, and I have zero regrets. If you’re someone who values speed over quality, this might not be your place—but if you appreciate authentic, carefully prepared food, you’re in for a treat.
Another thing I appreciated: the staff. I noticed several women working, and the cashier in particular was incredibly polite, friendly, and patient in answering all my questions.
I’ve been meaning to try this spot for a while—especially since my husband’s family is from Guatemala—but we hesitated because of some mixed reviews. Shame on us for waiting so long. We’ll be back on Wednesday… and again after that.
Highly recommend giving this place a try.
Tacos were a little greasy and not very traditionally served. Wait times were extremely long. Didn’t expect that from a $200 order as It wasn’t that much food. Went viral but not worth the hype.
